Comments : I WANT TO PROTECT THE WATERS OF THE FLORIDA KEYS BY WORKING WITH THE CITIZENS OF KEY LARGO TO IMPLEMENT OF AN ADEQUATE & COST EFFECTIVE WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT & TREATMENT SYSTEM. I am committed to moving wastewater implementation forward and to be ready for the next project. My mission, if am elected to the KLWWB, will be to find the additional funds from the Federal and State governments for Wastewater Systems & Management and to move this project forward. Education : • Miami Edison High School - Graduated 1963 • Dade County Fire College – Graduated Most Outstanding Fire Recruit • Miami - Dade Community College - Degree Associate in Science in Fire Service Administration • National Fire Academy - Course - Executive Development III • Numerous Computer Science Courses, Seminars, Workshops & Training Classes Advanced Photography Classes • AOW SCUBA Diver • USGC Captain - Ocean Operator - Master's License • State of Florida Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Experience : I started working for the Miami-Dade Co Planning Dept. in 1963 as a Technical Illustrator and Photographer. I transferred to the Miami-Dade Fire Dept in 1969 and worked though the ranks to Chief Fire Officer and functioned as a Battalion Chief. I also worked in the Logistics Division as the General Service Bureau OIC. Also, I have worked with several water conservation – submetering companies which have given me insight into the cost of water and sewer systems and the importance of conservation.
