Comments : I have been fortunate to have lived and worked in Tavernier for the past fifty-two years, and now it’s time to give something back. My knowledge of Monroe County’s past successes and failures, along with an extensive countywide network of friends, co-workers and politically active acquaintances gives me a solid overview of what Keys residents expect of their local government. I am retired from Monroe County Emergency Medical Services and have always been involved in social and political issues, including: 9 years – Upper Keys Health Care Taxing District Advisory Board (Trauma District) 5 years – Monroe County Human Services Advisory Board – current chairperson 25 years – Tavernier Volunteer Fire Department 10 years – Tavernier Community Association – current president
